NIMOFAST Brasil S/A, INOXCVA and TPPF form a consortium to build an LNG import- and distribution terminal to supply gas to Southern part of Brazil

Date: 13 May 2021

The Brazilian companies NIMOFAST Brasil S/A (NIMOFAST), INOXCVA Comércio e Indústria de equipamentos criogênicos LTDA (INOXCVA), TERMINAL PORTUARIO DA PONTA DO FELIX S/A (TPPF) and one of the world’s leading independent energy commodities trading houses form a consortium to supply gas to the Southern part of Brazil, starting from Q1 2022 onwards.

The consortium involves amongst others an LNG import terminal in Antonina, in the State of Paraná to supply downstream clients through that terminal in the state of Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul, Sao Paulo and Paraná.

“As gas supply from Bolivia is declining, we are committed to providing Brazil with energy security made possible through our LNG import- and distribution terminal in the State of Paraná in an economically efficient and sustainable manner by our consortium,” said Ramon Reis, President & CEO of NIMOFAST’.

Note: NIMOFAST Brasil S/A is an international Energy Trader with headquarters at Curitiba in the State of Paraná.
